Developed by the Design Hub, the ‘Lotus Pack’ is Essentra’s latest premium packaging capability. Launched at Luxe Pack Monaco this year the ‘Lotus Pack’ was developed as a response to the floral-inspired concept for the event and showcases Essentra’s interpretation of current trends in packaging for the beauty industry.
The ‘Lotus Pack’ is a blooming, lotus-shaped carton encased in a clear acetate pyramid. Removing the pyramid reveals a variety of colours and textures designed to enhance the consumer experience. The premium floral theme continues with luxurious, decorative labels on a bottle of perfume. These demonstrate Essentra’s extensive range of capabilities, including hot and cold foiling, varnishing, soft-touch finishing and our Holosense™ technology which provides a multi-dimensional visual experience where applied. As a result, the overall design features create a premium, multi-sensory experience that reflects the high quality of the product that the packaging is designed to contain. Finally, the pack is secured with a tamper-evident lollipop label, providing consumers a clear visual cue that the pack has not been opened previously.
