Essentra Laboratories is globally one of the first laboratories to be accredited for the testing of tobacco products and filters to ISO17025. Laboratory services cover a range of commercial testing capabilities to support decisions about regulatory submissions or product development. Our ISO17025/2019 schedule of accreditation has been expanded to include Hoffmann Testing and e-liquid testing. To check out our accredited methods use Google and search for UKAS1004.

Tests include ignition propensity, mainstream and side-stream smoke (for all compounds required by current regulation, such as ANVISA and many more), tobacco testing and GOTHIATEK®. We also offer bespoke method development and validation for specific products and needs.

Tests can be carried out on cigarettes, tobacco, Roll-Your-Own, and all other tobacco products including Tobacco Heated Products (THP).
