Distinctive end look

The Smooth Core Recess® filter is a state-of-the-art, high-impact, patent-pending technology in carbon filters. The innovative design has a recessed mouth end that acts as a visual indicator of performance and taste. The precisely positioned activated carbon in the centre of the filter delivers the smoother, cooler taste of a carbon cigarette.

Filter construction

Consists of high-quality crimped cellulose acetate fibres, which are bonded firmly. A precise quantity of activated carbon is positioned at the centre in the distinctive pod shape. This is enclosed in a plugwrap, which can be standard or porous.

The filter is wrapped in an outer plugwrap, which is stiff compared with other filter types and specially designed to ensure a high-quality appearance.

The filter tip is available as standard ‘king size’ circumference with a tip length above 30mm and carbon loading between 20mg and 50mg. The pressure drop can be varied to suit preferred taste and filtration.
