Smoother cooler taste

The Smooth Core® Technology filter offers a state-of-the-art, unique, patent-pending new technology in carbon filters.

The innovative design precisely positions the activated carbon in the centre of the filter for a smoother, cooler taste of a carbon cigarette.

Filter construction

Consists of high-quality crimped cellulose acetate fibres, which are bonded firmly. A precise quantity of activated carbon is positioned at the centre in the distinctive pod shape. This is enclosed in an outer plugwrap, which can be standard or porous depending on ventilation requirements. All construction is achieved in a single-pass process.

The filter tip is available as standard ‘king size’ circumference with a tip length above 25mm and carbon loading between 20mg and 50mg. The pressure drop can be varied to suit preferred taste and filtration.
