Corinthian™ filter

Best channel definition

The Corinthian™ filter is a multisegment, patent-pending product with a mouth-end segment that has flutes formed in the cellulose acetate around its circumference. Unique to Essentra, this delivers the greatest channel definition in the marketplace.

Filter construction

Consists of a tobacco and mouth segment of high-quality crimped cellulose acetate. Additional plasticiser and cellulose acetate means that the outer flutes are firmer than the standard.

The cellulose acetate is formed with a specified number of channels running lengthways along the outer surface. The filter is wrapped in an outer plugwrap, which can be standard or non-porous, and is stiff to create the flute appearance and ensure a high-quality finish.

A range of filter configurations, lengths, circumferences, number of flutes, and inclusion of capsule segments are available ensuring each construction enhances a particular brand and suits customer taste and filtration requirements.
