Cutting costs and time with custom handle design

When Groupe Atlantic needed a custom solution for one of their new products, Essentra’s Access Hardware R&D department worked to develop a bespoke swing handle for the boilers with a secure handle that standard tools would still be able to open. 

Working closely with Groupe Atlantic, Essentra used 3D printing technology to develop samples and this, paired with the ability to act quickly and having a smooth flow of information meant time savings, improved performance of the boilers and increased safety additional cost reductions. 

Essentra continues to provide ongoing support by providing a buffer stock agreement in line with production of Groupe Atlantic’s new product.
