Essentra To Showcase Serialisation Products And Design Capabilities At Pharma Expo 2016
04 Nov 2016
Essentra, a leading global provider of specialist packaging and authentication solutions to the pharmaceutical and beauty industries, is set to highlight some of its packaging and design innovations at the Pharma and Pack EXPO conferences in Chicago, IL from November 6-9 at booth W584.
Featuring their serialization and tamper verification portfolio, Essentra will showcase its latest offering of cartons and labels that enables brand owners to meet regulatory requirements and increase patient safety.
Essentra provides unique item-level serialization from externally supplied data, which negates the need for customers to set up and manage print in-house. This can be provided via printed labels and through Essentra’s range of carton options, which includes ready-to-pack serialized cartons.
For further enhanced security, tamper verification can be added by sealing access points either via glued cartons or using labels such as fibre-tear, void-release or frangible.
In addition, Essentra will present its recently launched Design Hub service at the show.
The Design Hub takes a creative and practical approach to packaging design and delivery, that provides Essentra’s customers with a simple, one-stop-shop packaging and design service offering that reduces complexity in supply chain. Led by Alan Davies, a creative leader with over 20 years of experience enhancing some of the world’s best-known consumer brands, The Design Hub brings together structural and creative packaging design to provide stand-out solutions.
The company’s packaging offer includes a wide range of cartons, leaflets and labels
Tiffany Overstreet, Global Category Director at Essentra, said: “Pharma EXPO 2016 gives us an opportunity to showcase our passion for delivering relevant solutions for the pharma industry. With the introduction of additional regulations globally designed to protect consumers and brands from the threat of counterfeit medicine, as well as the growing desire for pharma companies to differentiate their products through packaging, it is imperative that pharmaceutical and packaging companies work together to deliver efficient and effective solutions.”
